Lady envy painting July 2009

I repainted Lady Envy.



I worked on this painting three times (so three layers). Layer 3, I decided to paint over the artwork. I was not happy with it, and was not feeling it anymore. So, I decided to paint how lady envy feel to me in July.

Just a sample of my Chinese watercolor painting. Think the bee looks like a wasp, but that's how you paint them according to the book. :P

I have been painting with some cheap watercolors. Here is an example of my skill level...at this moment. :P

Last week I was busy with watercolor painting. Sometimes I would paint twice a day. Currently I am using cheap watercolor paints to practice with before using the good stuff.
